Getting Started


Recurring Events are events that repeat according to a set schedule. The problem with these repeating event is, however, that sometimes plans can change. In order to accurately display events on your store's website, you are able to Pause recurring events so that cancelled or skipped events can be correctly reported through your store's calendar. This article will briefly explain the process needed to pause these recurring events.


Pausing Recurring Events

After you have Added an Event and set the schedule to repeat periodically, you can manually Pause and Resume these repeating events by following these steps:

  1. From your BinderPOS Portal, select Events
  2. From the Events tab, select My Events
  3. From My Events, find the specific recurring event and select View All Events
  4. Here you will see the original Parent Event and all of the repeating Children Events. You will be able to manually Pause Children Events by selecting Pause or Resume Children Events by selecting Resume


A Parent Event refers to the original base event from which the Children Events (copies) are created
