Getting Started

One incredibly useful and vital tool for any webpage is the Navigation Bar. This bar is generally found at the top of your store's webpage and allows for your customers to easily navigate and sift through the most important and highlighted pages of your website. This article will briefly detail how to best utilize and customize this handy feature.

When customizing your Navigation Bar, you have two options: Navigation and Mega Menus. This article will focus on Mega Menus, specifically for Premium Theme Multi - Theme Three. Mega Menus

In order to begin customizing Mega Menus, follow these steps:

1. From your store's myShopify page, select Online Store > Theme
2. From Theme, find and select Customize
3. From the Customize page, find the customization side bar on the left side of the page. Here, select the drop down arrow to the left of Header
4. Next, either customize Menu Items or Add Menu Items

From here, you'll find many areas for customization. These include:

• Menu Item
• Image 1 & 2

Menu Item

This section includes a text input allowing for menu item titles to be connected to previous made mega menu drop-downs. Just as a reminder, these mega menu drop-downs are created and linked through the Shopify Navigation menu for your store. This section focuses on linking those mega menu drop downs to your store's Premium Theme Multi - Theme Three header menu item.

This Menu Item section customization will appear as follows:

Following customization, this Menu Item input will appear as:

Image 1 & 2

These two sections are focused primarily on adding images to the drop-down menu. When adding images here, there are further sections for customization. These are:

• Image
• Heading
• Text
• Link

Image

This section allows for an image to be added. In order to do this, select Select Image and choose the image being attached here. It will look like this:

Please also notice the recommended size for the image being added. These recommendations may change depending on the location the image is being added to.

Heading

This section allows for a heading to be placed underneath the attached image. It will appear as:

Text

This section allows for further information to be placed underneath the Heading. Any text here can be used to further expound upon the Heading and Image above. It will appear as:

Link

This section includes a text box that allows for your store to connect a link to the above Image. You can utilize this text box to insert either a direct link through a URL or by selecting the text box and searching through collections. It will appear something like this:
