Getting Started


Whereas Creating Buylist Rules is a useful way to outline products bought by your store in a large scale manner, utilizing tools for updating buylist rules for individual cards is a convenient means of customizing rules for specific product in a market that can change with little warning. While it is certainly true that you have the ability to create specific buylist rules for each individual card, this can create an incredibly cluttered list of rules AND it can be extremely time consuming This page will be dedicated to outlining how your store can update buylist rules for single products in an efficient and timely manner utilizing the following tools: Manual Update and Bulk Update


In order to access these features, you will need to:


In this section, you will find several search filters by which you can locate the specific cards that your are interested in setting rules for. Some of the filters you will see include:


  • Select Game
  • Product Type
  • Vendor
  • Product Title
  • Variants
  • Tagged with
  • Product Barcode
  • Product sku
  • Rarities
  • Sets


Please note that some of these search criteria are dependent upon which games you select in the Select Game category


This page will not go into detail on how to use each of these filters. Instead, we recommend that you experiment with this section in order to more quickly familiarize yourself with the features. Of course, if you run into any issues or have any complications, please do no hesitate to reach out to us for assistance


Manually Updating Individual Products

From the Products section, you have the ability here to search for any cards in the system. In order to begin, remember to:


  1. Fill in the Select Game section
  2. From here, fill in and complete any additional search filters needed
  3. Select Apply Filters


After selecting Apply Filters you will notice that the bottom of your screen has been populate with the card(s) that fit your search criteria. You will also notice that any previously created Buylist Rules will be present here. 


If you have previously created rules in the Online Buylist tab, they will be visible here


You will also notice the option to individually, manually edit the buylist rules for each card that has been filtered through your search criteria. It is important to note that any changes here will override your previously created buylist rules for this specific card.


Please remember that these edits are usually divided by condition, so you may need to double check any rule edits you make here


Bulk Updating Buylist Rules

After you have searched and found all the cards that you wish to manually update, but find that you have too many cards to update or if you feel that the manual updates are still too time consuming, you also have the option to institute bulk updates. In order to complete a Bulk Update, please follow these steps:


  1. From the Products tab, find and select Bulk update search in the top right of the page
  2. Select the fields you would like to edit
    1. A drop-down will appear below each of your selected fields prompting you to include your rule edits
  3. Select Push Bulk Update


Please note that the Bulk Update feature will apply the same changes to all cards that have populated from the search that you have instituted. Please double check your search criteria before pushing a bulk update, just to be safe


Using CSVs to Update Buylist Rules

If you have found that you are not content with Manually Updating or Bulk updating your Buylist Rules, you also have the option to export your search as a CSV, make your changes to the CSV and the re-import those edited CSVs to your BinderPOS inventory. Below you will find the steps to this process:


  1. From the Products tab, fill in your search criteria
  2. Find and select Export Search once your search has populated
  3. Open your exported Binder CSV and make your edits
  4. From your Products tab, find and select Import Binder CSV

Please note that any overrides for buylist rules must have the Credit, Cash, and Buy Limit filled out or the online buylist will default to the buylist rules
