About Apps


Applications are a good way to outsource customization options through Shopify and third party developers. While these applications do serve to aid in the customization of your store's site, they are not developed or maintained by our developers or BinderPOS. Because of this, any possible difficulties or problems arising out of the apps chosen for your site should be directed to Shopify or the app's developers.


Finding Apps

In order to search for and find the apps you are interested in, follow these steps:

  1. From your myShopify homepage, go to Apps and select Customize your store
  2. From here, you can search for and download any apps you want to try out.


If you are having trouble accessing the app store through these means, you can visit the app store manually by going to apps.shopify.com and searching for the application from there


Adding Apps

After you have downloaded the apps you are interested in adding to your website, you can customize and enable them by following these steps:

  1. From your myShopify homepage, go to Online Store > Themes
  2. Find and select Customize
  3. From any product page, find the Apps >Add block on the themes customization side-bar to work through and customize your apps as needed


The Apps block is available to customize from any products page. This is not an available option for your site's homepage. While there is no Apps block available for other pages, like collections, wish list, etc., you will notice an option to browse and enable apps here as well. We recommend taking time to customize and experiment with the apps you have chosen and with your website
